One of the best qualities of Filipinos is always seeing the brighter side of life. May it be recovering from a calamity or a personal tragedy, Filipinos manage to be joyful whatever their circumstances may be. Having said that, you don’t need to worry about having queen bees and drama queens in your team. They usually do not like to get involve in conflicts and issues with fellow colleagues.
Filipinos are kind and respectful
It is in their culture that they address the employer and seniors as you sir or Maam. The reason why respect is felt very much in the Philippines is because Filipinos have traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. They show respect in different ways, helping someone to cross the street, inviting someone to dine with them, kissing the hands of the elders, greeting anyone anytime of the day by saying Po or Opo.
Filipinos are loyal and good for long term employment
Filipinos can stay in a company for 20 years or more. They are very loyal, especially if their employers treat them well. They also value good relationships with their co-workers and this makes them more devoted to the company they work for. Filipinos operate on a “debt of gratitude” principle which fuels their loyalty to someone who has showed them favor, even if it’s just one instance.
